Reflection

Today when I was working in my PSA I start making my plan. First I start by making a plan and now how long is my video going to be. I rated my self with a 5 out of 5 today, because I was paying attention and I did make my plan. I focus in my work and start working in my imovie producer.
My plan is to continue working and make the best video ever. When I have time I can keep working in my video, also that I can work every time that I'm in the class. I plan on continuing working as hard as I'm working right know. I would try to make a good video that can explain about Digital Access so everyone can learn about it.

  • The internet is the most important access.
  • Elementary students used the computer mainly by going to games or listen to music.
  • Almost all middle school and high school students have access to a computer or just really easy by a cellphone or the new ipods.

1. What issue/topic did you choose? I choose to do Digital Access.
2. Why is it important? Digital Access is important, because not everyone has access to a computer or internet and they like outsiders, because they son;t see the news or what is happening.

Definition-Full electronic participation in society. Reflects the ability of each country's population to take advantage of internet communication technologies.
The world has a total of 2,095,006,005 internet users, but North America is only 272,066,000 part of what the total world is. Then Asia is the one with more user. 


In Africa there is very little people that have access to internet. In America, some parts of Europe, and Japan they have more access to internet than in other places. 
In Japan there is 99,182,00 in 2009. China in 2099 has 389,000,00. In 2010 sweden and Norway are 90 per 100.  In Australia there is 21,293,830 people that have access to internet.

Evaluation

My rating of myself on a scale of 1-6 


Investigation-In investigate I rated myself with a 5, because I did inestigate about what I was doing in my project, but I think that I could have investigate more. Also I think that what I investigate about what I was doing, was not okay but I did not investigate about what I was going to do.
Design- In design part I rated myself with a 5, because I could have desing something better insted of a game. I could have done something more creative and better. When I was doing my design part I could have done the games better as well as the questions. 
Plan- The plan part I rated myself with a 6 because I did the plan and I think that I follow it correctly. I also dod what I say that I would take my time in it. Also I manage my time greate will doing my project.
Create- In the create part I rated myself with a 5, because I think that I could have done the questions better. I could have also made more better opcions and also that they went it weren't the same.
Evaluate- In evaluate I rated myself with a 6. I rated myself with a 6 because i hink that I evaluated my self honestly and of how I think that I did. Also that I think that I have evaluate myself really good.
Attitudes- In attitudes of technology I rated myself with a 5, because I think that sometimes I didn't want to do the things the teacher told me to do. When the teacher told me simething I didn't want to do I still did it but I didn't want to. That is why I rated myself with a 5 out of 6.

Reflection

I rated my self with a 6 in the criterion F.
1.I rated my self with that because I work independently, and I always did my work  and I think that I did very good in my project and when we have to work I always did it I always work independently when I was doing my work, I didn't get distracted and when people talk to me I didn't distract myself. 
2.When doing my work and project I always use the attitudes of technology so I would do better and I was really into my work I always research on the things that I'm supposed to do and I always knew what I was doing and how to do it, and if I didn't know how to do it I always asked Mrs. Hinojosa.
3.In the time that I was doing my work I always worked hard and really pay attention to it, I also was really dedicated in my work that I think that I did a really good job at it, I work really hard and trying to understand things I didn't know how to do and also how to help others do what they didn't know.
4.When I was doing my work I always try to do it my best and be really enthusiastic and always being happy abut what I was doing and do it correctly and I also always try to make the best of what I'm doing and it didn't matter that I didn't want to do it I always did it and I was always trying to be happy about it so it can be a better work that I know I can do.
5.When I was doing my work and I didn't know how to do it or didn't know if I was doing it correctly I motivated myself to ask the teacher and make a better work out of it. Also when other people didn't want to do their work I try and motivated them so they can do there work and be more happy and motivated about it and also that they would want to do it.
6.When I was doing my work and I didn't know what do and if I was doing it correct I never loss my confidence in what I was doing. I also my other people feel confident when they didn't know if they where doing it okay I make them feel a little more confident in their selfs, and also making sure that everyone was confident of what they were doing.
7.The teacher at the begging of the project she put us deadlines and I always do everything the day it was suppose to be done. I also help other people do their work when it was suppose to be done so they can also meet their deadline, when the teacher told us when it was going to be done I try to do my best and finish everything when it was suppose to be.
8.I always follow my procedures when doing my work and did my design correctly. I also always followed the right procedures and make my work better so my design cycle was done how is suppose to do and be a great project.
9.I always follow the rules the teacher give me. I follow the rules of the design cycle and how we where suppose to do it, and when the teacher told us to do something I always did as she say and follow all the rules that she puts us and do the work how it was suppose to do it so it can be a perfect work.
Thats why I rated myself with a 6 in my criterion F because I always follow everything and I think I did pretty good.

I think that they will be able to do answer the questions with the game I made, and that they will be able to understand it. Also I think that my game was ok that I cover everything in the design cycle and that it was a good game. The six graders should be able to answer all the questions after they are done with the game.

Reflection
In this game I kind of did some of the same questions that I have done in other games, but in different words and that the game was pretty good. I think that this games was good and the six graders should understand the design cycle and should know what it is by the end of the game. When I was doing my 3rd game I was quiet and doing it without getting distracted and when I finish I help other people do their work.

Today I finish the game in the design cycle that I'm going to use and I create a game because is really easy to make. I believe that a sixth grader could understand it and the sixth graders would like to play it. To make a game is really easy for me and also for the six graders because they would like to play it and they would understand it. Today I gave myself a 6 because I did all my work and I finish my 3 design and I have choose the best one. I stay all the class in my place and did my work. I think that my games are really good because all of them explain the design cycle and I think I choose the best one and that in that one the six graders would understand the best. I rated myself with a 6 because of the things that I say before and that is why I rated myself with a 6 out of 6.

Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it. I'm going to make a comic book or a arcade game, i'm going to make it because I think is going to be easy to understand, and that the six graders are going to understand it.

12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? The limitations are that you have to make sure the six graders understand it and do the research.

INVESTIGATION REFLECTION *)

I'm rating myself in this rubic with a 3-4 that is a 75/85, because I did discuss the problem but I don't think I have explain a lot. I did investigate in other sources, but I still didn't put a lot of thing, and I also think that I didn't write enough. I also rated myself in my blog of what I thought was how the things I'm going to do are going to be, but I still think that I discuss the things correctly, it may not be a lot, but I think is clearly for everyone to understand. For the product/ solution I try very hard to make it good, and understandable I have to know all the details of what I'm doing, and be sure that it would be alright and that is goign to come out ok. I did use the instructions and the proper prosideres, but I still it is not enough, that it is good but not enough, and that I could have right more and that it still be good. For the evaluation it also have to made a product/ solution thing, it was also a little difficult to make, because you need to make sure is understandable and that it follows the criteria of the design cycle and that it would be the proper thing to do. I rated myself with a 3-4, because I feel like I could have done better, but that I still did it good.

Arcade Game

I'm rating myself in simplicity a 3 out of 5, to do simplicity wasn't easy, not even if the teacher have the instructions in her website. i rated a 3 in simplicity, because I think creating a arcade game is not easy for me to do, but the teacher have the instructions in her website and if you follow it you would understand and learn, and the simplicity of the arcade game would be more easy. When I was researching the arcade game, I learn that if I use it the 6th graders would understand more easy about the design cycle, but I also have to think of what type of them to use so they would think is interesting and wanted to play with it. 
  The next category is Theme choice in the arcade game, I rate myself with a 3 out of 5, because I don't know if the theme I would use would be more interesting, and that maybe I could have use a more interesting topic, to choose the theme wasn't easy, because you have to think if other people would like it and find it interesting. I think of myself with not to much creativity so that's why it may have more difficult for me to think of a theme. The theme of the arcade game would not be the best, but it would do, and that's why I rate myself with a 3 in a theme choice.
  The next category of the arcade game is the font choice, in the font choice I put a 5, because that's really easy to choose. To choose a font, they tell you the possible ones, the ones you can use. You can also choose different fonts for different parts of the arcade game, you can also change every other thing if you want it to stand out more that other parts, of the game. To choose a font it was a little difficult, because there a lot of them. When I check and find out you could use different in other parts, it make it more easy for me to choose, because I could put others that I like in different parts. That's why I rate myself with a 5, because is actually really easy to do.
  The next and final category is music, in music was a little tricky. I rate myself with a 3 out of 5, because like I say before it wasn't that easy to choose what type of music to put in my arcade game. I'm not really that creative in choosing music so it wasn't that easy, also if I put the music the arcade game have it would be really boring music, and everyone would go out of the game and they wouldn't learn about the design cycle. That why maybe if I put music that wasn't in the arcade game it would be less boring to get in it, and people would stay in the game. That's why I put a 2 out of 5 in my music choice.
  At the end my total was 14 points and my arcade game was rated. :)

  


Comic Book

I rate in the comic book, for my simplicity a 4 out of 5, because it was actually really easy to make a comic book. In Ms. Hinojosa's website it tells you all the steps to make a comic book. The simplicity of a comic book is not much, but still you need to think about other things like if the six graders would understand it, or if they would found it attractive to actually read it. I think one of the most hardest thing to do was think about what to write in the comic, if what I would write the best thing. That's why I rate myself with a 3.
  The next category would be Theme choice, in theme choice I rate myself with a 3 out of 5. I rate myself with that because the theme is a little difficult to find, because you don't know if the 6 graders would be interesting in the topic I would use for my comic book, and actually want it to read it. The theme of the comic book should be something interesting, that the kids would actually want to read, and learn about the design cycle. I rate a 3 because like I say before it was a little tricky to think of what theme to use, that they would like. Thats why I rate myself with a 3 in the theme category.
  The next category would be character choices, in charater choices I choose a 4 out of 5, I choose that because once I got the theme choice it was more easy to find the characters that I would use. When choosing the characters though I still have to think which characters they would like more, like which ones would the like to watch more than the other ones. Like if I would give them one comic book the things they like the most, it is most liketly they would want to read it, and with out knowing they would have understand the desgin cycle. When rating yourself in the character part it could be easy or it could be diffictult to actually try and find characters to use in a comic book. Thats why I rate myself with a 4.
  The next category is font choice. In font choice I rated myself with a 2 out of 5. I rate myself with a 2, because it was really difficult for me because I'm not really that creative when it comes to fonts & decorading, and when duing a comic book you have to also think about the theme you choose to see if the font you use would match and look good with what you did in the comic. Also you have to know when to make the letters different then the rest because, not everything can be equal. When talking about the font you also don't have that many choices because the website only gives you some, so that may make it a little more difficult for me to know what fonto use. That's why I rated myself with a 2 out of 5 in the font category.
  In the end I got a total of 13 points, because like I said before somethings are more difficult to do than the others, but at the end you may have done better thing that what you think you can do. Also it is more easy to do the comic book, because the teacher have on her website the instructions of how to make a comic book. :)
